Lea Qin Messmer is a Chinese-born opera singer who trained at renowned music academies in Germany. With a broad repertoire ranging from opera to concert and oratorio, she performs throughout Europe and internationally. Stages in her artistic career have included the Stadttheater Bern and the Theater Freiburg, where she has been a permanent member of the ensemble since 2012. Today, she also contributes her extensive stage experience to the work of the Kunsthalle Messmer. She has been deputy chair of the Messmer Foundation there since 2015. From 2025, she will take over the management of the Kunsthalle in Riegel as successor to the founder Jürgen Messmer. She has also been a member of the Kiwanis Club Emmendingen-Tara since 2024.
